Truly one of Byron Bay's shining stars, the Music Farm has it all: Seventeen acres in total - 4 acres of stunning gardens, 4 acres of lush orchards, 5 acres for our herd of mini moos, an exquisite main residence (Serenity House) and the original dairy farmer's home (Serenity Cottage).

Our small herd of mini moos (Bella, Titan, Tilly, Bonnie & sundry offspring) will come running at the offer of lucerne (cow lollies). There is something at once delightful and amusing, watching these girls gallop.............it's becomes clear that nature did not build them for speed.

These, the rolling lawns, the Studio/office, Cube Cabin, Serenity Cottage & Serenity House all come together to make this a most magnificent property.

Music Farm was originally a dairy farm and begins 2002 as a premier holiday destination offering self contained accommodation to suit most tastes and requirements.

Music Farm was established as one of the most respected recording studio's in Australia in the mid 70's. Concentrating solely on musical recordings, the Studio has been involved with such notable artists as Olivia Newton-John, Rod Stewart, Midnight Oil, Cold Chisel, The Swingers, Moving Pictures, Australian Crawl, Grace Knight, Kate Cerebrano, Tim Finn, Mi Sex, Mondo Rock and Christine Sullivan - to name just a few. From heavy metal - to jazz - to alternative.

That same Studio was the place from which young Australian pianist / entertainer Ali Wood launched her international career in 2004. It will soon become the onsite office for Byron Stunning Stays with the Studio becoming available for hire later in the year. (PRESS RELEASE)

The farm turns into a magical setting at night with the sound of croaking frogs and balmy frangipani scented air (the farm shares a boundary with The Frangipani Farm). Fall asleep to the sound of the gentle waterfall trickling over the rocks of the pond.
